Itinerary

  • Welcome to Riyadh! Upon your arrival, your tour leader or driver will be waiting for you. You don’t need to look for them – they will find you. You will then be transferred to your hotel in a air-conditioned car. Overnight in Riyadh.

  • Breakfast then Heritage Tour
  • National Museum of Saudi Arabia
  • First stop is the National Museum of Saudi Arabia, established in 1419 as part of the King Abdulaziz Historical Center. This museum covers the whole history of Saudi Arabia from the formation of the kingdom to the royal family and political context. The museum has eight main halls including Hall of Man and the Universe, Arab Kingdoms, Pre-Islamic Era, Prophet’s Mission, First Saudi State, Unification of the Kingdom, and Hall of Hajj and Two Holy Mosques. The exhibits include artifacts, manuscripts and documents in chronological order, Arabian and Islamic art and architecture.
  • National Museum Park
  • Then take a stroll in the National Museum Park, known for its beautiful gardens and King Abdulaziz’s historical park, an open area to spend time with family.
  • Murraba Palace
  • Next stop is Murraba Palace, a palace built by King Abdulaziz for his family. Built in the Najid style using local materials, this palace is great for photos.
  • Souk Al-Zal
  • Visit Souk Al-Zal, a historical market since 1901 near Masmak Fortress. This market is a treasure trove of Eastern souvenirs and a main tourist attraction in Riyadh.
  • Al Masmak Fortress
  • Visit Al Masmak Fortress and its exhibitions which include maps, photos, historical artifacts and a short documentary about the capture of the fortress by King Abdul Aziz.
  • Kingdom Tower (Mamlaka Tower)
  • End your day at Kingdom Tower, the tallest building in Riyadh, located in Oalya district. The mall inside the tower has various facilities and cafes. For a city view visit the Sky Bridge (extra ticket required).
  • Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Mosque
  • Photo stop at Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Mosque, a big local mosque with Middle Eastern style.

  • After breakfast, drive to Jebel Fihrayn, also known as the Edge of the World, 120 km from Riyadh. This amazing site has 1,000 feet high cliffs that offer an unobstructed view of the horizon and you will feel like you are standing at the edge of the world. The cliffs rise from the desert and the view is breathtaking. This geological wonder is part of the Tuwaiq Escarpment and overlooks an ancient ocean bed, with dried rivers and camel caravans below.

  • Enjoy breakfast before your tour leader or driver transfers you to the airport, assisting you through the final departure formalities.
