Wadi El Rayan
Wadi el Rayan located in the western desert of Egypt, It features 2 lakes connected by stunning waterfalls. It’s an amazing place in the desert to visit . It formed in 1970s from agriculture overflow, and the area in 42 meters under the sea level and offers attractive views of water flowing through the sand dunes
Wadi Hitan called also (Valley of the Whales)
Then you will continue your trip 40 km into the wadi el rayan natural reserve to arrive to wadi el hitan, which is a unesco world heritage place.It also called the valley of the whales. It also showcases 400 fossilized skeletons of whales, sea cows and other marine life, that dating back 40 million years. Fossils are in soft rock. It tells an interesting story of prehistoric marine evolution.
